After a successful tour in 2022-23, we are excited to run a completely virtual tour of Two-Sided Mirror this year! Two-Sided Mirror is an interactive role-play based workshop written by Catherine Frid about life-threatening illness, and supporting older adults through depression and suicidal ideation.
Starting Jan 2024
In partnership with Common Ground Community House MCT will facilitate Forum Theatre workshops with Syrian newcomers building community solidarity and exploring the barriers to civic engagement in their new home.
Next Session in March 2024 – Dates TBA
We offer training workshops for artists, educators and community leaders that teach the innovative and impactful techniques of Forum Theatre creation, performance, and facilitation. Each session teaches a different aspect of the Forum Theatre process, and we run training workshops a few times a year.
Working in partnership with Arts Orillia, Artistic Director Simon Malbogat will collaborate with local high school students over two weeks to create an original Forum Theatre piece exploring the challenges and struggles students face in their daily lives.
We have fully customizable workshops and presentations available for schools to book to address a variety of social justice, equity, and mental health challenges with students.
We have presentations and workshops available for post-secondary schools to book that address important issues relevant to students on campus. Our most requested topics are Consent, and Mental Health, but we can customize our programs to address other important challenges facing students.
